Some communication experts claim that reality TV can teach you a lot about conflict resolution. But then, you have to remember that it’s all about ratings. Even from the earliest episodes of “Survivor,” it was plain as day that the competitors who kept their heads down and stayed out of trouble were the first to go. Conflict resolution doesn’t make for exciting television, so the more drama, the better for the ratings.
