The Next Move is Yours Season Finale

Spencer lost his mind and went to Las Vegas to get Heidi back. Lauren, Lo and Audrina are still having relationship problems and Audrina was looking for another place to live.

Spencer Pratt

The Hills Season Finale, on May 12, 2008, started with Audrina Patridge and Justin Bobby checking out an apartment in Little Tokyo Lofts. Audrina has decided to look for a new place. Audrina said, "I feel like I’m so far away from everyone" as she looked out the huge window that spanned an entire wall. Justin said, "If you think about it, don’t you always try to get away from where you are?" Audrina replied, "I’m by myself right now in the guest house so it’s like I might as well get my own place."

Stephanie Pratt (Spencer’s sister) went to Heidi’s place and Spencer answered the door. Spencer said, "I’ve lost my mind. Heidi has made me lose my mind." Stephanie fessed up about Heidi’s trip and potential move to Las Vegas. Stephanie told Spencer that Heidi might not ever come back. Spencer said, "You coming to Vegas with me or am I going by myself?" Stephanie replied, "Think really hard before you do something stupid." Spencer said, "We’re going to Vegas."

Heidi Montag in Las Vegas

Heidi and crew, Sam Nazarian (CEO and Founder of SBE) and Brent Bolthouse (Nightlife and Events Producer) toured the Sahara Hotel and Casino. Sam explained all of the changes that they would be making to the hotel and Heidi took notes outlining her expected tasks.

Back in LA at People’s Revolution, Lauren Conrad and Whitney Port were talking about the Audrina situation. Whitney asked, "How’s the house and being with Audrina?" Lauren said, "I don’t see her much. Most of the times when I see her, she’s just passing by. I almost wish I did something so we could talk about it and get over it." Whitney said, "I think you and Lo are like sisters and she doesn’t want to impose." Lauren replied, "I don’t think she wants to live there anymore. Everything we have in common is that we live together, so if you take that out of the equation, I don’t know how close we would remain."

Spencer and Stephanie flew to Las Vegas, rented a car and were on the prowl to find Heidi. Spencer made Stephanie make a casual phone call to Heidi to find out where she was. Stephanie said, " I don’t want to be an accomplice." Spencer just shushed her and she made the call anyway. Stephanie called Heidi and asked her where she was and then they were off to the Palazzo Hotel where Heidi was having drinks with her bosses.

Spencer walked into the club and found Heidi sitting with her bosses. He walked up behind her and said, "Sorry to interrupt this dinner, can I have a moment with you outside." Heidi got up and said she was sorry to her bosses and followed Spencer out to the front of the club. They huddled close to have a conversation. Heidi asked, "What are you doing here? I’m with my bosses and this is a really important meeting. What are you doing?" Spencer said, "Stephanie said you got a job out here. I can’t have you moving to Vegas the way we ended things." Heidi replied, "It’s only convenient for you, you come and see me when you want. This is really important to me." Spencer said, "I need to talk to you, like, I can’t do this anymore. I’m done chasing you like this every day. Our relationship was turning into me wanting to be with you, and you just being too busy. Heidi said, "I can’t do this right now cause my bosses are here." Spencer said, "Just come back to LA with me." They stared at each other for a few minutes before Heidi returned to the table alone. Sam had to leave and once he was out of sight Heidi’s boss Brent said, "You got to get that under control. This is no joke. You’ve got one shot with Sam. I’ll talk to you in the morning." Then Brent left for the night and Heidi was left alone with her head in her hands.

Lauren Conrad
Upset about Audrina

Back in LA, Lauren and Lo were in the kitchen cooking crab legs and talking about how their relationship with Audrina has been awkward lately. Lo said, “ I just feel like I haven’t gotten to know her yet, and we’ve been living together for a while. I don’t think I’m welcome now. Why do you think that is?” Lauren replied, “Probably cause we’re somewhere new and you’re here now too so I spend more time with you. Lo said, “If she feels that way it’s just going to continue to grow, it’s not going to get better.” Lauren said, “I should just talk to her.” Lo said, “I’m glad you nominated yourself.” Audrina was originally invited to have dinner with her roommates, but she just left her guest house without saying anything to Lauren and Lo. Lauren watched Audrina walk out and said, “That was weird.” Lo said, “Ok, I guess it’s just you and me.”

Back at the Palazzo hotel in Las Vegas, Brent Bolthouse (Nightlife and Events Producer of SBE) waited for Heidi out by the curb. He left her a message saying that if she didn’t get there soon Sam was going to leave her. Sam and Brent were heading to the airport and Heidi was no where to be found. Sam and Brent took off for the airport without Heidi.

In Lauren and Lo’s house in LA, Lauren came home from work and went into Lo’s room to talk. Lo said, “What’s wrong?” Lauren said she was upset about the situation with Audrina and that she wanted to make her feel better as a friend, but she feels uncomfortable going out to her guest house. Lo said, “From experiences that I’ve had with roommates, if there’s a problem, there’s going to be more problems. Yah, there’s been tension in the house, but I think it’s ridiculous.” Lauren said, “You have to remember, we have a 12 year lead on our friendship. Lo said, “Yah, but for me too, you know, like, I’m living with her too. I want to live with girls who are my best friends and I don’t know if she’s gonna be the one to come into the house and just hang out.”

Audrina Patridge

Lauren went to Audrina’s guest house to have a chat. Lauren complimented on how nice Audrina dressed up the place. Lauren sat on the couch. Lauren said, “ You’re always out here, we never get to see you anymore.” Audrina said, “I just feel weird going upstairs.” Lauren said, “Lo and I want you to come up. I feel like we’ve all been doing our own thing and we haven’t been spending any time together. Audrina said, “Honestly, I’ve just been doing my own thing lately.” Lauren said, “I just feel like slowly, slowly, we’re growing apart and I don’t know if it’s like I did something, but it’s bumming me out.” Audrina said, “It just feels like sometimes when I’m talking to you, you ignore me because of Lo.” Lauren said,”Like when?” Audrina said, “Lauren!” Lauren said, “I didn’t want to fight more with you, I just wanted to let you know how I felt.” Audrina said, “It feels like since Lo’s in the picture, you’ve distanced from me. Last night was nice that you invited me to have crab with you guys, but I already had plans. Audrina told Lauren that it’s not about her. That she feels that Lo is pushing them apart. Lauren cried and said, “Lo’s done nothing to push us apart on my side. I’ve never let opinions of others affect my friendships. Audrina just sighed. They had uncomfortable silence and then Lauren left and the season finale of the Hills ended. You'll have to wait until the 4th season premier in August to find out if Audrina and Lauren's friendship ended as well.
