Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag on Tyra Banks
In April 2008, Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag faced Tyra Banks’ grueling questions about many rumors floating around the blog scene. These reality show sweethearts claimed all rumors to be false except for one, the infamous Lauren Conrad sex tape.
The rumors about Lauren Conrad and Jason Wahler making a sex tape surfaced over a year ago. According to a source that spoke to TMZ, the alleged sex tape was “Very Vanilla” with “no hard core sex.” Basically stating, that this really couldn’t even be considered a true “sex tape”. The movie company that was interested in the tape cancelled the deal after Jason Wahler was reported as making racial and slanderous comments. SurgarDVD originally offered them $500,000 for their very soft porn video.
Lauren Conrad immediately denied the allegations of having made a sex tape and blamed Heidi and Spencer for the rumor. The two ex Lauren Conrad friends are still defending their stance on this issue today.
Tyra Banks asked if this rumor was true. They both answered yes, without hesitation. Heidi said “From what I heard, from a confirmed source, is that her ex-boyfriend was going around trying to sell it.” When asked if she’d seen the video, Heidi replied, “I didn’t see it, but I knew there was something.” Heidi expressed her sadness with how it all went down and said she cried a lot when Lauren blamed her for the sex tape rumors. She claimed to be the person who helped Lauren through it. Heidi said she misses hanging out with her old best friend.
Spencer had a much less emotional reaction to Tyra’s sex tape questions. Spencer said the tape does exist. He commented, “I know for 100% fact, no 1,000%” He said he’d rather throw up then watch the tape. He said, “ I would take a lie detector test.” Both Spencer and Heidi mentioned that they’ve been painted as the Villians in this situation. Spencer said that the tape does exist and that Lauren is just covering it up to keep her image clean.
If the tape is as tame as it sounds, Lauren should just put it out on the Internet and be done with this whole fiasco. Look what nude pictures have done for Audrina Patridge’s popularity.
