Biography
When MTV began taping the day to day life of Lauren Conrad, star of LAGUNA BEACH: THE REAL O.C., Heidi Montag began her TV career making a few appearances on the show. Later, she was cast a feature role in THE HILLS to be the roommate and best friend of Conrad.
Along with Conrad, Heidi Montag studied at the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising. Montag decided to drop out of school and worked at Bolthouse Productions as an intern. She has been promoted to an event planner at Bolthouse.
Montag was a regular in every episode of seasons one, two and three of THE HILLS. Montag has since moved out and doesn't communicate with Conrad. The relationship severed during their time as roommates and involves Spencer Pratt, a boyfriend of Montag's. Despite a major role on the show, she did not appear on THE HILLS: Finale After Party, broadcast or THE HILLS: MTV Canada Finale After Show.
Montag has ambitions to become a film actress and expressed a desire to win an Academy Award.
Even though she dropped out of design school, Montag is a spokesperson for Anchor Blue Clothing Company and is designing her own clothing line for the company called "Heidiwood".
She is an aspiring singer and is currently under a one song contract with Warner Bros. The album will be released by Montag herself, with most of her songs produced by David Foster.
