If you’re having a hard time deciding who to vote for in next week’s season finale of So You Think You Can Dance, you’re definitely not alone! Regular viewers of the show have been in heated debates this past week over whether Twitch is better than Josh, if Katee is just arrogant or served, and if a ballroom dancer can really produce a solo that’s worthy of making the final four.
There have been polls all over the web asking who fans favorite dancers are and many of the readers and voters said Katee was it! Twitch seemed to hold second place in various polls and all the other contestants were pretty even from there. Getting back to the topic at hand, you’re not alone if you're not sure who deserves your final vote. So You Think You Can Dance judge Mary Murphy spoke out this week and said she has no clue who will walk away the winner next Thursday.

"In years past, we've seen some people run from the pack,” Mary told the National Ledger this week. “Benji Schwimmer was a runaway train on the show, so it was no surprise when he won. I couldn't tell you who's going to win right now.” Perhaps season 2’s Travis Wall wasn’t as close to winning as he may have originally thought. Murphy went on to say that some of this season’s eliminations have completely caught her off guard. "I was shocked when Kherington was voted off because that was my first impression of someone I thought was going to be in the finale. I have no clue how America is going to vote,” she admitted.
Many of the shows fans have noticed that the judges seem to be tougher this year, particularly on the contemporary style dancers. Several of them were eliminated early on, when their fate was still in the hands of the judges. Murphy defended herself and the panel by simply explaining they try to raise the bar each season. "Our expectations get higher and higher every year, so I have a feeling next year we're really going to be tough on those poor kids," she said.
Murphy, an expert ballroom dancer and choreographer, may have been quite the contender back in her day but she laughed at the idea of appearing on the show saying, "If I was really young and didn't know any better then I would have loved to have been part of something like this. Now that I'm older and know better, I don't think I would do it in a million years!”
