Will Wingfield & Comfort Fedoke
On the lastest SYTYCD results show, the remaining group of eight dancers comes out first and perform a hip-hop piece.
Cat Deeley comes out next and goes through the weekly spiel of how America's results are already in - and two more dancers are leaving this week.
Nigel Lythgoe is dressed down tonight and for good reason. Declareyourself.com has asked him to encourage everyone of voting age to make sure they vote in the upcoming Presidential election. He reminds us he and Cat can’t vote in this country.
And before I get to who was voted off, let me mention this week's guest performers. Two dancers from the Los Angeles Ballet showed up to perform a beautiful Ballanchine pas de deux, and then the infamous and talented LL Cool J himself performed his latest hit, "Baby." Talk about a wide variety in genres.
Ok now for the results! As we already know, two more dancers were voted off, and I'm sorry to say the two leaving us were
Will Wingfield and
Comfort Fedoke. Having Will voted off was a complete shock to everyone I think. No one expected him to go home yet. In fact, he was one of the male contestants I thought would be on the show until the very end! What in the world was America thinking this week? I mean SERIOUSLY!
SYTYCD Top 6 Dancers
To say that this season of So You Think You Can Dance has been a roller coaster for Comfort Fedoke is an understatement. She had her ups and downs in the Vegas audition rounds but prevailed, making it through to the Top 20. Almost immediately, she found herself in the bottom groups, up for elimination, week after week. She and partner
Thayne Jasperson were sent home right before making Top 10 but were selected to go on tour as swings. Right after she was eliminated,
Jessica King got injured and was forced to drop out of the competition so Comfort was brought back. She landed in the bottom two that week, but
Kherington Payne went home. This week became her last (for the second time) and she was sent home for good.
And then it was a scenario many So You Think You Can Dance fans didn't want to see.
Twitch Boss and Will Wingfield, two of this season's frontrunners, landed in the bottom two and one of them of course had to go. America has really got to be kidding! Both of these dancers are phenomenal - I'm still in shock I think? Will, who has landed in the bottom groups before during this season, was the one pulling the least amount of votes this week and was sent home. Will is Debbie Allen's protege and she had to step down as a judge this season so that he could participate. I'm wondering now if that move a blessing or a curse? Boooo to America for voting off Will!
