What's the schedule? Saturday, August 02 2008

Adam, Jamie, Kari, Tory and Grant enjoyed a few weeks off for the summer, but they returned as part of Discovery's Shark Week kickoff to the new seasons. For those of you who were a little confused, the new episode aired on Sunday, Aug. 27, not on their normal Wednesday nights - although on Wednesday the 30th, they did replay the new episode.

The new episode, like Dirty Jobs - which aired on Tuesday instead of Monday - focused on sharks. The Mythbusters gang explored several myths about escaping sharks, attracting sharks and repelling sharks.

There was supposed to be a Mythbusters episode about whirlpools on the 22nd, so we wrote a story about the missing show and a little back ground on whirlpools.

It turns out, the reason they didn't show Mythbusters was because they had several planned for Sunday, before the new episode.

Thankfully, the show is back on schedule, starting next week - Aug 6. That Wednesday will be a new episode, supposedly about whether or not NASA could have faked the moon landing, as many conspiracy theorists suppose.

Despite the confusion, it was a welcome new episode and thankfully things are back on track for next week. Hopefully we'll see you then.
