Biography
Adam Savage was a child of a painter/animator/director, Adam himself was a child actor, voicing animated characters that his father produced for Sesame Street. He played Mr. Whipple's stockboy "Jimmy" in a Charmin commercial and was in the 1985 Billy Joel music video "You're Only Human (Second Wind).
He stars as an expert on the popular Discovery channel show, "Mythbusters". His best known show quote appears in the beginning of most of the episodes: "I reject your reality and substitute my own!"
In 2002, Adam and Jamie Hyneman, long time collaborators on various projects, including the BattleBots robot Blendo, got together to film 3 pilot episodes for Mythbusters. He and Jamie use basic elements of the scientific method to test the validity of various rumors, urban legends and news stories in popular culture.
