A final review of the season reveals clues and details of who thought what about whom. The players reunite to share their thoughts now as the Mole and the winner of the $420,000 jackpot is revealed.

Jon reviews each player’s execution and gives a synopsis the show up until now. The nine executed players are in the room with the three last players locked in separate small rooms adjacent to where the group was sitting. Jon replays clips of the show as Paul, Alex, Victoria, Liz, Marcie, Kristen, Clay, Ali and Bobby get to watch and comment along the way.

Jon begins with a walk down memory lane with a highlight of Bobby, “the most controversial player,” Jon adds. They show the beginning where Bobby acts like he will be a most formidable player, but then shortly after he is shown barely able to walk on the beach during the Crusoe mission. We see Clay tell the camera that, “Bobby O is like an 80-year-old war vet.” Everyone is laughing. The next clip is Kristen wheeling Bobby around in the wheelbarrow.

Jon asks Bobby how he is doing now and wants to know what the medical diagnosis was. Bobby says he is great now and that he had pulled the muscles in his legs and had to take medication for it.

Next, Jon reveals the winner of the $420,000 jackpot. The players go crazy, jumping up and down clapping, for MARK. Jon congratulates Mark and asks him how surprised he is.

Craig, The Mole, says he had
everyone fooled.

“I’m shocked and I’m humbled; really I mean these people were amazing, all of them are incredible competitors,” Mark responds. “The whole reason I did this was so my wife wouldn’t have to work anymore and if I could make enough money that my wife could stay home with our children especially with the new baby, that would give me an incredible sense of accomplishment, I just can’t believe it.”

We know who the winner is,” Jon says. “Now it’s time to find out who is the mole.” Jon gives Mark the key to open the door the mole is standing behind.

“Ladies and gentlemen, this is the Mole!” And out steps CRAIG! Liz laughs loudly, and the crowd is pointing at Craig like “it’s you!” Craig and Mark hug. Jon tells Craig he did a phenomenal job and asks if he has anything to say to the winner. Craig tells Mark, “I think you were built for this game, both mentally and physically; even things people thought would hold you back I think you turned it around and used as a strength. I’m proud of you and I think you did it for all the right reasons.”

“There’s one last player that needs to join this party,” Jon said. And they let Nicole out. She hugs Craig and Mark.

“Nicole, you played an outstanding game.” Jon says. He adds that Nicole was one of the most formidable players and reviews Nicole’s history and how she acted so obnoxiously.

Nicole took a lot of criticism for her
antics, but didn't care for Ali's
remarks.

Her strategy was to annoy everyone and put suspicion on herself, she said. Comments about Nicole from the other player’s are shown. Nicole seems to handle it well, even all the negative comments, except when they ask Ali if her comment about Nicole being crazy still holds true. Ali says, “I don’t think she is crazy now.” Nicole looks pissed and says, “Yeah, thanks a lot, I appreciate it.” Ali responds, “it was just part of the game.”

Nicole admits she almost threw the quiz so she could go home. Paul learns he was right about Craig being the mole and that he was executed after losing the quiz to Nicole by only four seconds.

Next, Mark’s history is revealed and how he took copious notes, obessing about his journal. Mark tied three times with other players who were executed. He didn’t even suspect Craig in the beginning.

“Throughout the game Mark’s journey was full of near misses but his tireless work ethic and drive to win for his family led him to victory,” Jon concludes.

Jon reveals that Nicole got 13 out of 20 questions correct on the final quiz and that Mark had 17 out of 20 correct. He noted that the dossier didn’t even help Mark in the end.

Craig tells how he sabotaged the game and how he fooled everyone. “My strategy was to be the fun lovable guy,” he explains. “Everybody was completely underestimating me, not even thinking I had the ability to be the mole.”

The first clue that Craig was the mole
was when he carried this sign
on the beach.

He had covered up items and lied in the Crusoe mission, he scored a goal on his own team and told Bobby to get in the wheelbarrow in the When Pigs Fly mission. In Fruit of the Luge he broke the rules by talking to Victoria. In the Traveler’s mission, he assigned impossible tasks to the players. And he purposely got shot in one mission but helped in the Tick, Tock, Boom mission so they could add money to the pot.

“Thanks for being good sports I had an amazing time and they all added to it and it was a unique experience because of the other people that were with me,” he tells all the players.

Everyone agreed that Craig did a great job as the mole and commented about how nice of a guy Craig was, that they never suspected him as the mole. Craig reveals that he really did suffer from altitude sickness and hypothermia. He said people on the set looked terrified.

Jon congratulates Craig on
a job well done.

The clues were revealed. Many were numbers and letters embedded in frames of the openers and credits. The first clue was when Craig carried a sign in the Crusoe mission that was signed “The Mole.” The letters forming “Not Ali” were embedded on a map, area codes of the final three players were embedded in the opener, Craig’s laughter was heard at the dinner table when Craig wasn’t even there. CRG was on the wall in graffiti and there was even an audio that when played backwards says, “Craig’s the mole.”

The last surprise that night for Mark was that his wife was flown in to share in Mark’s celebration.

“I was very fortunate in this game and there were people who played this game better than I did but I am humbled,” Mark says for his final address to the other players. “I had to win at the expense of 10 other people and I just thank everybody.” It is said that he deserved it and they all seem to agree.

“No question about it, this has been one phenomenal season on The Mole,” Jon says in conclusion. “I enjoyed it and we’ve all enjoyed bringing you this summer’s biggest who-dunit – thanks for watching.”
