Summer officially begins
June 21st
Welcome to the Dog Days! Even though technically it isn't summertime yet, it sure feels like it. The oscillating fan is on high, the ice cream man is gonna make a mint and I plan to boycott using the stove for a good three months.
This is also a time when television reality shows either take a hiatus or they start their premiere. Some shows will have reruns while others will be fresh and brand spanking new.

my city is trying to ban the ice cream man's music! it's too loud they say and they want them to use bells... what is summer without that annoying music that brings great joy to the hearts of kids all across the country!
