Dina's Granny loved TV
I believe that I mentioned before that I was basically raised off of the TV like millions of others in the world. TV is part of our decor in our homes. Back in the day, my Grandma had a set that looked like a cross between a wooden statue and a table. Nowadays, television monitors are more streamlined and take upon the appearance of picture frames.
Last week I spoke about how reality television can and often includes game shows. I brought up the physical appearance of TVs from the past till now because recently I passed by an appliance store. I saw a set that looked like the one my Grandma had.
But she wasn't into Ken Norton
like you know who...
Grandma and I would hover around the set and watch our favorite game show and have fun watching the contestants win their prizes and such.
It is amazing how even though it is trendy in a way that everyone and their grandma has a reality show now, they in essence where around since my grandma was a young girl. She is not here anymore, but the popularity of reality TV lives on. Who knows, maybe it will still be around when I become a grandma.
You never know....
Have fun.
