Gordo's Wife Tana Branches Out Her Career Wednesday, June 04 2008

Tana has been all over the media lately. She has recently become an ambassador with Playhouse Disney's Playing for a Planet, which urges pre-schools, and nurseries to awards. She is acting as a spokesperson for the awards, reaching out to families,

The contest will honor families who really live "green", individuals who take the environment's needs to heart, and other awards for environmental excellence.

Tana's work with Playhouse Disney is among her other work in the public eye, including her two cookbooks, Tana Ramsay's Family Kitchen, and Tana Ramsay's Real Family Food.

While her cooking style is simple, in comparison to her husband's gourmet style, her work life is 'better under pressure." She maintains that her business ventures occur during the day when her children are in school, so that when they are home, she is able to spend her time with them.

She is a family centered individual who values the wholesome parts of life. Certainly her gentle, kind nature not only balances her husbands brash and extrovert behavior, but also imply that that potty-mouth-chef has a softer side, as well.
