Mike takes some time to model.
Yep, your seeing it correctly, Mike is an official spokesman for the working man's truck - Ford F150.
In these lively commercials, Mike cracks a few jokes as he hangs out with various Ford workers. In his most recent, he chats with a crash test specialist.
The commercial opens with a truck slamming into a brick wall, followed by a solid POP and one word from Mike - Wow. Next he introduces Bill, the specialist.
"He's wrecked more cars than Hollywood," Mike said.
"You ought to see my insurance rates," Bill said.
"I'll handle the jokes," Mike said.
And he does. The ad, from FoMoCo, is witty and brief, just like Mike.
So, why Mike?
"The Ford F-150 is built consistently with better parts that give it more strength and capability to help customers get more work done," Barry Engle, general manager, Ford Division Marketing said in the first commercial.
And that's who Mike represents, the everyday hard workers who get things done.
