Criss Angel
Canadian fashion line Dussault has announced an agreement with Criss Angel to design and produce Criss’ new clothing line dubbed MF13. Set to include T-shirts, jeans, and accessories, MF13 will be sold exclusively at the Criss Angel Mindfreak store in the Luxor Hotel in Las Vegas and online through the Criss Angel website.

In addition to the MF13 line, Dussault has designed a logo for Criss’ cirque du soleil show BeLIEve which will be featured on apparel available exclusively at the Luxor’s Cirque shop.

I am a huge fan of Criss,“ Jason Dussault, founder, chairman, and head designer of Dussault apparel said. “After spending time with Criss, both at our flagship store opening in Los Angeles which he filmed for his television series, and after reviewing the story boards for Criss Angel BeLIEve, I could not be more inspired. I feel that the products I will be co-designing and producing for the Criss Angel MF13 line and the T’s for Criss Angel BeLIEve will be my best art to date.”

Since its first store opened in Vancouver, Dussault has branded itself as a “forward thinking, high end street wear fashion line.” Buying from a wide variety of wholesalers and bazaars keeps Dussault original and fresh, according to their website. Dussault claims to paint, finish, and detail their pieces by hand, making each line unique and rare.

Unfortunately for Dussault, this may not be the breakthrough deal the cirque du soleil name implies. With the gala opening for BeLIEve having been pushed back several times, and with the news of BeLIEve low-end tickets going for unbelievably low prices for an opening cirque show, there seems to be certain amount of nervousness growing. Whether cirque simply wanted to make some tickets affordable for the teenage Criss Angel goth loyals is unclear, but with longstanding Cirque show “Mystere” low-end tickets going for a dollar more than BeLIEve opening day tickets, Dussault and Angel fans alike have cause for concern.
