So you have scrimped and saved, but all of your heart ache and hard work paid off. You have in your possession tickets to the preview of Criss Angel and Cirque du Soleil’s Believe on pre-opening night September 1, 2008. You have saved every penny, worked out your work schedule with your boss and fellow employees to get the time off and you are flying into Vegas for a well deserved vacation any Loyal would be proud to take. You are going to see Criss Angel and Cirque du Soleil in Believe.

But what’s this you hear… Cirque announces a delay in the opening, they are pushing it back to October 2008… how can that be? You have reservations, tickets and the time off… this must be a dream. You go to the web site and there’s nothing. Not a word from Criss, it must be a lie. But to double check because you know how the internet is, let’s check Cirque. Nothing on the site, the counter looks the same, the site hasn’t been changed… why is no one talking?

Well some quick searching on the internet finds the answer. The show has been pushed back, your pre-opening tickets are no good and you will be refunded and you must now try and get tickets again. But you got that great 25% discount (for being Loyal) and no there’s no discount, you are being charged more. How can this be happening with no word from Criss?

So google help me out here…. Okay, they are citing technical difficulties for the delay, with the new custom Luxor Theater and the transition from moving from the training center to the theater being the problem. Fine, I guess you buy new tickets. The boss has agreed and the flight moved with relatively no problems, but no word from Criss.

Other angry fans are commenting and blogging but no word from Criss. There is no official word other than from Cirque. But there is this according to the Review-Journal: "The move will affect 14 shows that already were on sale. Early birds, mostly from Angel’s fan club, will be given corresponding seats at other performances or get refunds if they can’t be in town on the new night. Anyone holding tickets should call 1-800-557-7428."

Well like everyone else, you called the number been told the run around and have your new tickets, all the problems have been solved after a few days of confusion. You are one of the lucky ones, a lot of Loyal haven’t been so lucky. They can’t rearrange their plans for this the second delay in the opening. Well to all the Loyal out there, I hope you make it to the show, and I hope that Criss gives us some answers, but for right now, I guess we have to sit back and Believe the show will open with no more delays. Official new opening date is October 9, 2008.
