Mind Freak the Ladies Man Friday, June 20 2008

Criss Angel and the ladies will be our topic of discussion today. Let’s face it, to only talk about his illusions would be to ignore the man… and this man should not be ignored. Standing 5’11”, the handsome dark haired Mind Freak was born Christopher Nicholas Sarantakos – he is now 40 years old, but courts the ladies like he was 25 and they are barely 25.


Let’s start out with his ex-wife Joann Sarantakos who he married in 1992 and divorced in 2007. Joann sued Angel for divorce claimed five years of mental cruelty, abandonment and an affair with Cameron Diaz. According to attorney’s for Mrs. Sarantakos, Angel made millions and his wife saw none of it. They were together for over 15 years. Or were they?

Moving on or perhaps it’s back in time, there was rumors of Jennifer Madden prior to Minnie Driver back in 2006; where we find stories of Minnie being dumped by Angel for Cameron Diaz, but Diaz doesn’t come into the picture until 2007, so put her on hold. In 2006, the National Ledger article links Paris Hilton, Criss Angel and Minnie Driver in what they call a Halloween Triangle. But rumor has it Minnie dumped him because of Paris Hilton. That’s October 2006.


In 2007 we have Gina Teichert, an aspiring model whose only claim to fame appears to be that she dated Angel – she was 22 years old. Also in 2007, we have Emily Istre, a vocalist had a brief run as the latest Angel hottie at the age of 24 in mid year 2007. Next comes Mary Riley, of Bench Warmer fame for a brief moment before Angel moved on to Cindy Margolis.

Cindy Margolis was entered in 1999 as the worlds most downloaded woman being downloaded over 70,000 times in 24 hours, she was 34 at the time. She was in Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery, Sin City and over course was one of Bob Barker’s Beauties on the Price is Right back in 1995. She’s been married since 1998.

Also in 2007, Angel has been linked with Playboy model Natasha Tagai who was in Vegas in August. But what about Diaz, we find the lovely Cameron Diaz popping into the rumor mill as early as May 2007. With article titles such as Charlie’s Angel is not Criss’s Angel on May 16, 2007. In the midst of his messy divorce, Angel left a long message on the blog of Robin Leach’s Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous stating: “It is with great sadness and disappointment that I feel the need to dignify and refute the inaccuracies, blatant lies and misrepresentations that my estranged wife and her attorney made last week in a New York courtroom and continue to make in the press…. Cameron and I met in May of this year at the VH1 Rock Honors show, over a year after JoAnn’s initial filing. She and I went on four or five dates and there is no current relationship between us. But during filming a stunt in June 2007, he dedicated his stunk to his “new girl” and said “I’ll be thinking of you”. Hmmmm….

So then there is Lindsay Lohan, Britney Spears, Camille Guatey, Katy Johnson and Pam Anderson – 2007 was a busy year for Criss Angel. With is divorce now final, it appears that the Mind Freak is going to enjoy being single! And so are the ladies.

In 2008, he has been seen dating a lovely named Sandra, and we all remember Ms. Nevada, Veronica Grabowski and the current Giselle Diaz. But don’t blink… tomorrow is a new day and leaves room for a new lovely in Angel’s life. Will you be next?
