The Bull and more bull

Just the bull
Our First Bull
Well rumor from the Vegas Strip is that Criss Angel has a black eye. Apparently, two weeks or so ago, while filming for the upcoming Las Vegas extravaganza, Believe, Criss was on location with a Bramha bull and came home with a black eye. Angel’s publicist claims that Angel was not hurt by the bull, but ended up in an interesting situation that put him between the bull and a fence. An interesting situation without a lot of details… hard to believe this stayed quiet for two weeks.

The Second Bull

Last week, we discussed the Loyal, Criss Angel’s fan base, this week, we are going on the other side where people Criss is full of… you guessed it… bull. So let’s take a look, give it a quick Google search (Criss angel fake) and you find that there are some 269,000 hits compared to the 83,000 when we went with loyal. So let’s take a look and see what they other voices have to say.

As we know, Criss has always had a dramatic flair to his act, early on as we see from his videos, his make was extreme and his cast and crew were odd to put it nicely. The loud music and punkish feel gave his early works a sensory explosion of a darker world.

Currently Criss
As time goes forward, Criss's dramatic flair begins to define itself and the non-believers grow. With the onset of his televisions appearances in 1997, the comments from the shadows grow louder, but the whispers are all the same, "Angel is a fake".

As more and more people access the internet, the flood of voices crying “fake” get extreme with YouTube videos explaining in great detail about his failures and his fakeness. Blogs, posts and pics all aggressively clamoring about camera angles, staged volunteers and the ever famous smoke and mirrors.

The non-believers even go so far as to track down the staged volunteers and post unconfirmed theories on how they think the tricks are performed. Calling him a fake, fraud, and even the anti-christ, the reviews aren’t always good. But one thing rings true, the non-believers have the same passion for disliking and the loyal have for liking him.

In the end, the facts remain the same, Criss Angel is a performer. A good one or a bad one is for you to decide. Please remember this; all magicians/illusionists are performers! Some perform in smoking lounges with girls in skimpy outfits and the whole bird in the cage routine; others wear top hats and tuxedos and perform at parties and special occasions. Then we have plain clothed nice looking men who dazzle us with visionary stimulations so gently we don’t really mind if they are fake or not. We are just fine with the fact that yes, Criss Angel can make an elephant disappear right before our eyes, because who was looking at the elephant anyways!
See ya next week… Believe (or not)!
