Hulk Hogan
Brooke Hogan, daughter of wrestler
Hulk Hogan, escaped injury after her car was hit and pushed into a concrete wall, according to a report by the St. Petersburg Times in Florida. Witnesses said the male driver of the other car was speeding, the newspaper reports.
Hulk Hogan and his soon-to-be-ex-wife Linda both showed up at the scene of the crash, but no one, including Brooke, her 20-year-old female or the 19-year-old driver of the other car were injured, according to a report in People.com. Bollea's 2008 four-door Mercedes had $3,000 damage done to it, according to People.com, which reported on a press release from the Florida Highway Patrol.
Hogan's other child, 17-year-old Nick Bollea, recently began serving an eighth-month jail sentence for felony reckless driving after he lost control on his Toyota Supra and crashed into a tree. His friend, John Graziano, was critically injured in the wreck.
Hogan and Daughter Brooke
People.com quoted a MySpace post by Brooke Hogan, in which she credited the use of seatbelts for keeping her and her passenger uninjured. "As I turned on my car I clicked my seatbelt. As we pulled out onto the road, I looked over and realized my friend didn't have her seatbelt on. I reminded her to put it on and the minute she clicked it, a car crashed into us," Brooke also wrote, "It was a horrible car accident, one that most would be severely hurt in, but we had our seatbelts on and they kept us in tight."
