Heads up American Gladiator fans! Our favorite, powerful, muscle bound competitors are returning to NBC on May 12, 2008 8PM ET/PT. The Gladiators plan to dominate the arena against amateur contestants in a 2 hour season premier. The second season episodes will be 90-minutes long, starting Monday, May 19th on NBC. American Gladiators was the most popular new show of NBC's 2007-2008 season.
Who would have thought this fierce, brutal reality TV show from the past would be revived into such a hit. When American Gladiators first aired, in 1989, there were only six muscle-bound fighters and they beat the tar out of their competitors. Imagine the mind blowing, action packed competitions that will take place with the latest group of twelve savage warriors. Double the powerhouses, double the fun!
So fans, put on your spandex fan shirts and get your voices ready to cheer on your favorites, on the next American Gladiators coming this May.
