Christian metal band
P.O.D. will appear at the new Orange County Choppers headquarters building on Monday, July 28th, at 6pm. The show is completely free and open to the public. Doors open at 5:30.
The P.O.D. website announces:
P.O.D. is honored to be the first band to have a concert in the new OCC building. We want as many Warriors at the taping as possible. If you live in the area, and can hop in a car or catch the train to Newburgh, NY, you need to head out to Orange County Choppers for the show. The taping is completely free and open to the public, since this is being taped for an up coming episode we want to make sure that the Warriors are there to represent with us...you know how we do! So make your plans now and do not miss this opportunity.
The OCC Headquarters
P.O.D.--the initials stand for Payable On Death--is a Reggae-influenced Christian metal band from San Diego, California. Formed in 1992, the band's line-up consists of vocalist Sonny Sandoval, drummer Wuv Bernardo, guitarist Marcos Curiel, and bassist Traa Daniels.
The band is known for their platinum studio albums,
The Fundamental Elements of Southtown (2000) and
Satellite (2002) which include the hit singles, "Alive" and "Youth of the Nation." Their single "Sleeping Awake" was featured in the
Matrix Reloaded soundtrack.
