Morgan Spurlock is M.I.A.

Morgan is gone again for awhile...
It seems so unfair. It is similar to being swept up in a love affair that captures your heart and soul. The experiences that are shared and the impressions that are left. But then, perhaps much, much too soon, the love affair ends and then there is an empty void taking up space and nothing but time to pick up the pieces and move on with life...
That is the dilemma that many fans are experiencing with the hiatus of Morgan Spurlock’s hit FX show, 30 Days. Since it’s debut in 2005, it had captivated audiences with the realistic application of that age old adage “walking in someone else’s shoes”. Morgan not only has done it, but has recruited other people to be put outside of their comfort zone. With people exploiting their uncomfortable conditions under the banner of “understanding each other” millions of Americans watched and soon Morgan Spurlock and his 30 Days episodes became fodder for conversation. Sometimes the 30 Days experience would inspire a lifestyle change in the participants of the show. Other times it didn’t.. After the success of his show, he was quoted as saying: “I have incredible amounts of hope that things can change. It takes people who believe. “
Cold pizza, anyone?
Yet the show has a peculiar history with its scheduling. Since 2005, the show has only aired six shows between June and July. Then it is gone not to return until the summer sun touches the sky again. It has been that way even in 2005 and this year seems to be no different. Realitybug.com has dutifully covered all the six episodes of this season and from the way things look, we might not be able to recap on brand new episodes until next June. Bummer.
But every cloud has a silver lining. Realitybug will continue to recap 30 Days episodes but we will do the shows from the past two seasons. We will provide 12 weeks of Morgan Spurlock shows for your entertainment and pleasure (hey, reruns are like cold pizza! It is more enjoyable when some time has set upon it).
